Discussion at the breakfast table

Moravia: "When Pippen (that's louise, for you africans) gets to be a big grown-up lady, maybe she'll get...a BABY!"

Jess: "Hmmm...well, Pippen is too old to have any more babies."

Moravia: "But Pippen isn't old like other people."

Agreed.

Fun with the kiddies

The picture of the super cute Babe doesn’t need any explanation. The dimples and shiny eyes are from Aram; the kiss he’s bringing is for Mama.

The other one is a bit hard to decipher, but it’s also darling. Every night Arm tousles with the kids on the bed. It is a favorite and special time of the day, as little bodies go bouncing and flopping in every direction, with giggles and shrieks, and happiness all around. A perfect way to wind up a long day.

That's Kilimanjaro just over our shoulders

Isaac takes a short uneventful trip - to the Emergency Room

A typical Saturday afternoon. Isaac is jumping across the flowerbed. His feet slip and he comes down HARD on the back of his neck.
He has some brief disorientation and numbness in his legs, but soon is fairly lucid (reciting poetry and pi digits to check his memory).
Dad decides to err in the excess. We call 911 and they arrive, strap Isaac to a stabilizer board and we follow to the ER.
After a few hours and a CAT Scan, the Dr. pronounces no broken bones in head or neck, no sign of concussion or internal bleeding, and they take off the straps and he walks out. Isaac's healthy musculature absorbed the blow with apparently no significant damage. anywhere else. We gratefully take one sore boy home. Isaac is taking over-the-counter NSAI's and plans to do no jumping for a few days. That's all! Through it all, we remarked later, Louise and I felt a peace and lack of panic. It was very relieving to get the good word from the Doc, but it wasn't traumatic. Praise to God!
