Thanksgiving

I keep looking here for someone better equipped than I to have posted pics of us all at Thanksgiving. Maybe even the results of Chad's ill-fated trampoline flip.

My girls are currently having after-supper self directed craft time. This evening it evolved into making dozens of tiny umbrellas out of cut up egg cartons. A few larger "umbrellas" were designated for the "baby Jesus" who is wrapped in swaddling scarves and lying in a box under the "Christmas tree"----a truly dreadful looking 3-foot potted pine. Aunt Kendra would, I think, be happy that I have a Christmas tree for the first time in my life. My, my, how very enculturated we are....
