There was a smushy spot in the kitchen floor, and a hole, so bill pulled out the cabinets, propped up the countertop, pulled up the rotten stuff and is replacing the subflooring.. then we are about ready for the hardwood ... whaaaaa hoooooo

wow, quite the undertaking. Are you just not eating till he's finished?
try cooking standing only on the floor joists, lest you fall into the insulation with the dehydrated mouse.
