Pictures from Kenya
So, here we are finally posting some pictures of our new existence. I'm not sure they will be the most revealing, but there will be more to come. Below is the chicken pen Debbi is so happy about. And here is Shadrach, eating a watermelon (duh). He's just started really swallowing food in the last few days. This is in our courtyard, with a bathroom off one side, bedrooms off the other, and a door to the rest of the house.
We took a trip to a giraffe park down the road from Omondi's, which cost us all of 200 shillings, but was really great. Some rich giraffe lovers back in the day decided to save the Rothschild giraffe, which I guess was going extinct, and now all they have to show for it is this educational giraffe place and a bunch of brush. Other than the giraffes surviving, of course. Their mansion has been turned into a hotel, where you can feed giraffes out the bedroom windows, and which appears on TV from time to time.
Beth Hollopeter's wedding was at a beautiful spot down by the river, close to Thika. This pic is of Beth with Kefa's Dad, and Kefa with his Mom. I met George's parents here too.
And here are the children, cooking away in our fireplace. Just in case someone has forgoten what they looked like.
So that's all folks. For now. Next time I'll try to get some from church and the guest house. Love to all.

Lovely seeing all your pretty faces again.
The first picture with Priska and a girrafe is great, both of them with their tongues out
i was wondering if shemshadrach was sitting up yet. zafaran just started doing it well this last week. first tooth on the same day. the second one is close behind, causing much weeping and knashing of nipples.
Thanks SO much for sharing!
