Hello family and friends. It's a wonderfully cool saturday morning and I'm loving wearing a sweatshirt as I write this. The cool after the rain is a beautiful thing. I sent Simeon off this morning around 6:30 to play in an ultimate frisbee tournament in Cincinnati. He's been practicing with a team for the last little while on monday and thursday evenings, and then they go to weekend tournaments. Not all weekends, thankfully. There is also a summer ultimate league that we both participate in on wednesday evenings that has been a lot of fun. It's one way that we can get out of our little bubble of friends and meet new people who are different than us. (some of them much different:-) It's been good for us. Here's some pictures of Sim doing what he loves right now.
The other day Jess came over and we made a large quantity of granola for both of us. Moravia was enjoying it as well.
Simeon and I also took a trip out to Missouri for one last good time at the homestead. It was wonderful. We worked and played a good bit. A canoe trip is a lovely way to spend a Sunday, especially as the storms were rolling in.
Some of my family came to visit us a couple of weeks ago. My parents, and my younger brother Jeff and his girlfriend Katrina.
And that's all for now folks. We are very excited about the up coming weddings and seeing all the people that will be there.
Love to all!

Nice pictures!
Makes me wish I played frisbee more!
Wow, the picture of Dad with the oar balanced on his nose is a classic. He should attach that to his resume somehow. And someone should print it off for the family archives.
Moe is such a doll! And the granola WAS wonderful, I don't blame her for eating it by the handful. (Of course, what DOESN'T she eat by the handfull...)
